Lead Guitar 4

Lead Guitar 4 is about consolidation of material from the previous lead guitar courses.

We have a thorough examination of the 5 pentatonic positions using songs in relevant keys.

We also look at some classic guitar licks in various styles as played by Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Peter Green, Carlos Santana, J.J. Cale, Charlie Christian.

We revise the main modes – Ionian, Mixolydian, Aeolian.

We also look at dealing with key changes in a song.

Lead Guitar 4 Objectives

The aim is also to become more familiar with the note layout on the fretboard and to develop and improve melodic sense.
